Food label regulations are complex, and the Nutritional Facts Panels are getting a facelift.  2020 and 2021 are rolling compliance dates for making sure the new Nutrition Facts Panel, which include 3 new declarations (Added Sugar, Potassium, and Vitamin D) are on your products.   The Affordable Health Care Act requires nutritional labeling if you are a small chain of 5 or more restaurants.  So, if you are a small firm looking to add or update the Nutrition Facts Panels on your labels, or if you are a restaurant looking to comply, we can help.

Supply Chain Program & FSVP:

 FDA’s FSVP requires the “importer” uses a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) to review the food safety risks and food safety plan for both product and facility respectively, before the ship hits the water.  You need to know the foreign supplier is producing a safe product that is properly registered and would meet the same food safety standards as if it had been produced here.  Have questions, or need help with compliance?
